![]() | Jamie Williams, President, PeopleNet Canada Williams joined PeopleNet on January 1, 2001, as the Director of Sales for Canada. Williams came to PeopleNet with 16 years experience in the transportation industry. When Williams started, PeopleNet was just entering the Canadian market. Williams successfully grew the business from the ground floor up. In 2004, Williams was named President of PeopleNet Canada and oversees all sales and support in Canada. Under Williams direction, PeopleNet Canada has become the fastest growing mobile communications company in Canada today. Prior to joining PeopleNet, Williams attended the University of Guelph and held management positions at UPS, Cancom, and Freightquest, a division of Cummins Engine Company. Williams is heavily involved in major trucking assciations across Canada and is a board member of the PMTC. |
![]() | Ron Konezny, General Manager, Global Transportation and Logistics A founder of PeopleNet, Konezny started as Chief Technology Officer architecting PeopleNet's unique, award winning system. Ron led PeopleNet's technology team and platform vision, which resulted in the first internet-based solution in the market, patented OTAP (over-the-air-programming), email messaging, handheld integration, Vehicle Management engine data interface, eDriver Logs, Automated Fuel Tax, and Automated Workflow. In 2002, as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer, Konezny led PeopleNet to record growth and profitability. Averaging over 35% growth annually, PeopleNet retired all outstanding debt and placed a firm emphasis on reinvesting its profits back into further innovation. In 2011, with Trimble's acquisition of PeopleNet, Ron was named General Manager of Trimble's Global Transportation and Logistics division. Ron is a graduate of Northwestern University. Ron has served on the National Private Truck Council Institute Board and the Truckload Carriers Association Board. Prior to joining PeopleNet, Ron worked as a senior consultant for Cap Gemini Ernst & Young Consulting, where he specialized in international telecommunications. |
![]() | Brian McLaughlin, President McLaughlin has been with PeopleNet since 2001. He currently leads the PeopleNet business across North America. His list of key accomplishments includes leading the company to year over year growth for the past 5 years, and instituting a customer-driven innovation process. He has also helped to shape industry policy as it pertains to Electronic Onboard Recording Devices and other safety initiatives. McLaughlin holds a Bachelors Degree from Miami University and a Masters Degree in Marketing/Management from the University Of St. Thomas. He currently serves the industry in many capacities including key roles within The American Trucking Association Technology and Maintenance Council, The National Private Truck Council and others. |
![]() | Mike Goergen, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Goergen has been with PeopleNet since 1997 when he joined as Controller and then served as Vice President—Finance. He currently leads all International Finance and Accounting activities across PeopleNet. Goergen has been instrumental in implementing the company's current ERP system, streamlining procurement and order fulfillment, and helping build the company's financial strength. |
![]() | Rick Ochsendorf, Senior Vice President of Operations Ochsendorf is a transportation industry veteran with 25 years of experience in growing organizations through creativity, accountability, cost control, productivity and team building. He is responsible for operations and product management across multiple platforms, including product strategy, positioning and marketing. Previously as vice president of operations, he developed and grew the Professional Services department to reinforce the company’s focus on creating ROI for customers by assessing their business processes, redesigning them with PeopleNet applications and organizing successful implementations. As director of operations for Q Carriers (national refrigerated truckload carrier), Ochsendorf created and implemented a survival strategy to counter a 200 percent insurance rate increase, a 25% economy-related decrease in revenue, 50-70 percent increases in fuel price, and high driver turnover. He held a number of operations management, customer service, and accounting positions at Berger Transfer and Storage (largest Allied Van Lines agent). ![]() | Randy Boyles, Senior Vice President of Tailored Solutions Boyles is a technology professional with more than 25 years of management and innovation experience in the airline & transportation industry. Before joining PeopleNet, he held a number of executive positions for MTI, a fleet management software provider, including vice president of development, general manager and president. He orchestrated the integration of PeopleNet, Terion, Geologics and ALK's Copilot to the company's flagship dispatch product, and bolstered customer loyalty through product stabilization, service delivery, improved customer relations, and new-product introductions. As an entrepreneur, Randy's company RBSI provided systems integration solutions for navigation, mobile computing and communication. He created the integration enabler now known as PeopleNet Link™ before selling it to PeopleNet and joining the company. During his tenure at PeopleNet Randy has continued to introduce innovative technologies that have helped shape the industry. Randy's contributions have included the g3Link which enables handheld & laptop integration in the cab, BLULink, an enabling technology for rapid development of custom applications on PeopleNet's flagship BLU platform, and the WiVAN Gateway, a hardware enabler allowing integration to a variety of truck mounted devices such as tire pressure monitoring, reefer and temperature monitoring and fuel meter integration. |
![]() | Louis McAnally, Vice President of OperationsLouis McAnally has provided telematics consulting and account management services to the trucking industry for 18 years. He is experienced in mobile communications and fleet management, including customer implementation and systems optimization through the integration of mobile communications with automated applications. He is responsible for ensuring that customer support, professional services, technical operations, and project management perform at exceptionally high levels and deliver ROI and satisfaction to the transportation industry. He was previously director of the Professional Services group, with a primary focus is on helping customers optimize their ROI from PeopleNet’s products and services. He was responsible for process assessment and improvement, project management, and consulting to reduce customers’ operations costs. Leadership: CTP (Certified Transportation Professional) from the National Private Truck Council Education: Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Dallas Baptist University. |
