Sales Specialist
Location: Minnetonka, Minnesota
Summary:
Reports to the SVP of Regional Markets and Sales Operations. Cross functional liaison for the sales management team to all corporate departments. Responsible for administering Customer Centric Sales process, NetSuite sales process, consolidated sales analytics/reporting, and other sales operating functions across all PeopleNet sales verticals. Ensure remote sales activities are properly aligned to help with the achievement of sales MBOs. Manage to expense budget.
Responsibilities:
- Capture and disseminate critical sales performance data such as the Marketing Scorecard, Win/Loss Report and other key sales reports
- Sales data management to include NetSuite and SharePoint
- Represent Sales leadership at corporate meetings to insure understanding and conveyance of information
- Maintain consistency across all sales verticals by insuring timely distribution of related information in the proper format.
- Implement solutions that enable better sales processes and success
- Work with accounting to manage inventory allocations
- Perform other duties as required in collaboration with the President, SVPs, and President of Canada
- Help initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new segments.
- Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
- Help sales management with the develop and effective use of the sales budget
- Manage the sales and shipment forecast to insure compliance with company objectives
- Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding issues negatively affecting sales performance.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- STRONG Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel, and Word skills
- Understanding of Netsuite, and Customer Centric Selling
- Superior organization and time management
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a focus on details
- Must exhibit a high degree of professionalism
Preferred Skills:
- Accounting experience a plus
- Understanding of transportation and fleet management solutions available in the marketplace
